Placement of facilities near enclosures is important. This staff rooms are not buildable inside, but outside you can decor them whoever you want. Incredibly detailed, the staff will ckeck their to do lists at the staff rooms, and then go an check the animals. Staff facilities are not sims type blackholes anymore, like in Planet Coaster, but ctually rendered rooms with all the needs for your staff inside. Guest wil run if they see escaping animals and your park will take a hit on its quality. Animals can escape, but they cant kill guests.

You cant build them piece by piece, but theres an upgrade system to make them look better and the animals inside be happier. Micro exhibits inside glass for reptiles and insects. Same with wter, some animals can swim out of our enclosures if you are not careful, while other will treat lakes as natural barriers. Different animals will be able to climb different type of slopes, so you will need to be careful for them to not scape through a mountain you build. Animal locomotion is cutting edge tech, as we said, animals will interact with your scenery pieces, and also your terrafomring. So basically you can build a small little shelter for you animals or a huge wooden ship that acts as a playground for your monkeys, that will actually go up there and use it as a playground, making them more happy. Roofs in buildings will actually now act like roofs thanks to the new weather system. Not only terraforming is important, but piece by piece decorations are usuable by animals (shelters, playgrounds.) and guests a like. You make a little cave, animals will be intelligent enough to treat like a shelter. Terraforming is actually now a need and not only aesthetics like in Planet Coaster. Depending on the enclosures this needs will be fullfiled (or not). Animals have a ton of different needs, including mental needs. Animals have a new fur tech (as you can see in the trailer and new screenshots).

There can also be inbreeding, and will affect the life expectancy of your animals. Animals can breed, be born and die, also defecate (as you can see in the trailer lol) Right now the confirmed ones are New World American, British Classic and Africa Three themes confirmed by name, much more to come. Everything is unlocked on sandbox mode, but there will be a nice unlock system in campaign mode. Narrative campaign storymode (they didnt show it to us, but is probably similar to the new ghostbusters DLC story mode, which is great expanded and much better for singleplayer than the old Planet Coaster campaign. New UI, similar to Planet Coaster but much nicer and sleek. Of course we could ask questions so we got some answers that werent said in this video (just some small stuff here and there and them going a little more in depth of stuff they showed here, but they also told us there was a TOn more stuff they couldnt talk about or show till the game is more near to release), and they told us we could talk about everything after they showed the game at E3 so here it is: I was invited also and had an amazing time, and im glad finally people can see exactly how good this game looks.
